Hooker makes a set that will fit with NO modifications. You can even add ps and ac and they will clear!

I have Hooker Super comps with 1 3/4 in tubes. I have power steering. They fit perfectly before changing motor mounts. I had to put a very small dent in one of the tubes to clear steering box after changing the mounts. I don't think you would have that problem without the power steering.

I have a 68 RS Convertible with an original 327 block (now a 383) and use Stahl Step Headers. They clear the power steering box and fit my angle plug AFR 195 heads. Only problem was I was running a tubular transmission crossmember and header angle caused the exhaust to hit one of the tubes. Switching to the stock cross member fixed the problem. Only other problem is the cost. Hope this helps.
