I have searched under mottling, mist coat, and metallic.
I am looking for more advice on mist coating metallic base coat to control
mottling. I have also read some material at house of color and others. They
talk about mist coating and using the right temp reducers. When mist coating
bc/cc base color would more reducer be better than less? I always measure
and follow mfg. labels. If close to the max temp for reducer move to the slower higher temp reducer? Mist coat = light passes more dist from gun to panel? Increase or decrease air press to gun? Also I am using DuPont bc/cc, with a binks hvlp gun, wet sanded to 600.
