Guys, I've toying with the idea of making my '69 into an SS clone. My main question is, did the 69 SS offer racing stripes as an option? Or was it just the hocky stripes? IThe only reason I'm leaning towards an SS is that I have a 396 in it. Other wise I would make it into a Z 28 clone.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just the hockey stick stripes. Only the Z28, Z10 and Z11's came with the rally stripes, no way to order them on any other car. If you deleted the stripe you got the special paint instruction code (- -) on your cowl tag.
