I am nearing completion of a complete resto on my 68 Convertible, and have chosen Energy Suspension poly bushings on my restored Upper/Lower control arms. I am also using the production sway bar. I am using 1" lower new front springs, and finding that the sway bar bushing bolt ends are interfering with the upper ball joing tips. Should I cut down the length of the sway bar bushing bolts, or is there something I'm not seeing here? Thanks for any help!

Should I cut down the length of the sway bar bushing bolts?

Yes. The sway bar ends should be more or less parallel to the ground, with the car at ride hieght. when that's done, they shouldn't interfere with anything as the suspension moves. You may need to shorten the spacer, cut down the bolts, or get new grade 8 bolts to get it right.

Thanks for the help. We've got a great day to work on the car, so I'll give it a go. Thanks, again!
