Looking at picking up a 1st gen. Just got back from looking at it. Interior is in great shape for being original. Needs new carpet and a headliner, exerything else can be salvaged minus the tear in the driver side seat where your ass is when driving. Body wise, it has usual rust in the fenders behind the wheels, quarters have rot behind the wheels as well, and the rocker panels need to be replaced.

Trim Tag decodes as follows:
04B E
ST 67-12437 NOR108838 BODY
TR 760-Z Y-Y PAINT
E 2EMG

1967 Camaro Coupe
April (2nd week of the month)
Black Interior
12437 - Sport Coupe, standard interior
NOR- Norwood, Ohio (suburb of Cincinnati)
760 - Black standard buckets
Z - Bucket seats
E - all tinted windows
Y - Butternut Yellow
2 - Black top
E - air conditioning
M - Powerglide transmission (LOS - TH400 it is thought)
G - center console

It's a 327/auto with a console, factory ac and tinted glass. It has 25,000 original miles and has been parked since 1981 by the 2nd owner.

Jason it sounds like a nice car, welcome to Team Camaro too.
If its a powerglide its a 2 speed automatic where the TH400 is a 3speed auto for big block cars. If the shifter has 2 stops its a powerglide, if it has 3 stops then it could have been changed out over time. Seems like alot of body work coming at you as well, guessing there will be rust under the back glass in the channels as you dig into it. Still a nice ride and on ebay that one would fetch over $15000 in my mind, but could be more but some pics would help folks in here to give you an idea. Can you post some pics of it?

15k sounds on the high side to me with the body issues you describe. I was gonna say 10k...just a plain jane coupe after all in need of total restoration by the sounds of it.

Your decode is close, but the "2" is just the grouping number, it does not decode to a black top. The second "Y" in "Y-Y" denotes the top was painted the same color as the car. Also, the "E" after the date doesn't decode to anything important. The 760 tells you the interior is black.

As for it's worth, I'd guess no more than 10k as well on zbay. If you're buying it locally, I'd throw out a number closer to 7-8K. Just my opinion and see where it goes.
