I am converting my power steering to manual. I bought a Borgeson 525 box (part #920010). The pitman arm I purchased from local parts dealer, a MOOG (part # K6150) does not fit. My friend gave me a manual box with a pitman arm attached from I believe a 68 chevelle. The pitman is in really bad shape but a trile fitted it anyway. And that one fit perfect, but I can't use it. It is much shorter than the K6150 from MOOG, does anyone have a clue what pitman arm I need?

you might try the loczal dealer again, it sounds like the first one they gave you was for power steering, the shaft out of the box is a different size
