Does anyone know who else rebuilds origional proportioning and distribution valves?
Today I found a company called whitepost,

They quoted me $150.00 per item with lifetime warranty.
I thought that was quite pricey.

White Post (Billy Thompson) has rebuilt everything from regular master cylinders to priceless and irreplaceable 60's Ferrari aluminum master and wheel cylinders for me over the years; they are far and away the best in the business. Not cheap, but the best. :thumbsup:

I got my metering valve (the round one) done by Karp's Brake in So. Cal. (909)985-0800 for $65. A note, the rubber cover on the button is not reproduced, at least that is what Karp's told me. Brakebooster.com did my booster and metering valve bracket. Very nice in gold zinc.

JohnZ, can the boot be replaced while the valve is mounted? It just pushes on?

The Rick's boot is not correct, but functional and can be installed on the car. The guys at RightStuffDetailing were working on a correct repro the last time I spoke to them.

Vanco Power Brakes http://www.vancopbs.com/ did my metering valve and distribution block. The guarantee them for life. I waited over a year to finish my brake system and found one of the distribution block seats to be bad. They fixed it for free with no questions asked. I believe the two parts together cost about $160.
