Guys, I'm sure this topic has been addressed somewhere in this forum. I have done various searches and haven't found the answer to my question.

I have a 69 and want to run 17x8's all around. What backspacing and what tire sizes should I be looking as well as backspacing so I don't have clearance issues. I don't want to make any modifications. I am running drum breaks all around. I'm thinking about disc for the front in the future.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hmmm, u sure you searched? with an 8" rim, 4 3/4 bs is ideal, 4 1/2 is good and easier to find. in back, a 255 that stands 26" tall is comfortable, a 275 will fit, barely. In front, 225 is comfortable, up to 245 has been done, but it's extremely tight.
