My '67 had a '68 grill. I just replaced it with the appropriate '67 SS grill. I ordered a new SS emblem but the mounting posts are not long enough to extend through the grill and protrude far enough to fixate. Does anyone know where I can order one? My '68 emblem had long posts but it is too angled for this grill. I realize that either my grill or emblem (or both) may be out of spec as so many repro parts tend to be at times. Thanks

Is there a difference between an RS grille and a standard grille?? I know my 67 RS grille is thinner so maybe the RS/SS grille emblem would have the shorter posts than the reg SS emblem on a standard grille??
I know there is difinately a difference for 69 grilles and SS emblems.

I am not sure about the difference between the grate thickness of an SS and RS. I just know that my SS emblem posts are too short for the new '67 grill on my car. Maybe they sent me the wrong emblem or my grill is out of spec. I dont know.

There is no such thing as an SS grill. You either have a standard grill or an RS grill.
There is a difference between the SS emblem used on the 2 different grills. You most likely have the wrong emblem.
If you have a standard grill you need the SS emblem for standard grill. If you have a RS grill you need the SS emblem for that grill. 1967 emblem as well.
