I am looking at this car to rebuild as a pro-touring but want to make sure the owners is representing it correctly. I don't have a pic on it but it looks like one of the rivets holding this on is new. Makes me suspicious.

Thats a real early 67 Camaro.
08B = Built August 2nd week
E = Black Interior Clor
67= 1967 model
12437= Standard Interior Coupe
NOR = Norwood Ohio Assy Plant
399 = Fisher Body Number 399th body built - pretty early
760 = Black Standard seats
Z = Bucket Seats w/o headrests
R = Upper Paint Bolero Red
R = Lower Paint Bolero Red
3K = Style trim group Z21
A pretty low optioned car. What is the VIN on this car?? Any pics?

Like Jonesy said, it's a very low optioned car and it's not a z/ss/rs or anything. I seriously doubt anyone would take the time to make a trim tag with so little on it.

Too early to tell for sure it's not a SS.
You need to look at other items, esp the axle code.

True, it still could be an SS, but my point was that if someone was going to switch the tag they would have most likely put a 4p/n/k on it to be more obvious.

Id like to see the vin sequence number on the car... think its the earliest one ive seen.

Thanks guys. I will get the VIN soon. I guess the plate was loose or something or he wanted to paint behinde it, except he used two different sized rivets..pretty sloppy. It was a real basic car so probably no harm in making some fun modifications.
