hello, i'm a new member & new to this thread thing, so please bear with my ignorance! my question is there any way to identify my convertible as a big block. it probaly isn't but there are some wierd things on the car such as big block frame stands, large fuel line etc. it has 10 bolt mono leaf with power disc brake up front. one thing i can't fiqure is the a/c box. were they the same on big & small block cars? the car has poer windows & power top as a couple of nice options. could a low horsepower bigblock & powerglide combo be ordered with a 10 bolt? thanks for the site, its great!!

Welcome to Team Camaro. The AC box is different between the small and big block cars. The big block box has the POAST valve on the engine side of the box, the small block box has it on the fender side. I'll let the experts here speak on the other questions. Doesn't sound like a bb car if it has mono springs, though.
