I welded in a new dash panel . The old one was badly rusted and now have no studs for those clips that hold on the windshield molding along the bottom of the windshield.
Where do I put them and what do I use ?
some guys are telling me I can use sheet metal screws

I don't think that there is studs on the bottom. My 68 has clips that screw in under the cowl.

The studs are only on the top and sides. The bottom trim clips screw into the innercowl/dash area with sheetmetal screws.
