Does anyone know whether you can use an original 1969 saginaw shifter and linkage on a muncie swap?
Thanks.

Just finished mounting a Hurst Indy shifter for a Muncie on a Saginaw 4 speed. The primary difference between the two transmissions(shifter wise) is the location of the reverse shifter arm and the length of the reverse shift rod. You will need to shorten the Saginaw rod a bit and bend it a little or you could order a new Muncie reverse rod from Hurst; about $20(been there, done that). LOL
