RS3SDL2MG Sep 26th, 05, 03:46 PM ra ra ra sis boom ba !!! go go go !!! is it baseball right now ? or basketball ? I can never tell what season it is ,, 3SuperSports Sep 26th, 05, 03:53 PM Thankful that (for Kansas City and Denver) Baseball season is over! ZZ430DropTop67RS Sep 26th, 05, 04:38 PM <<--- Denver fan. My best wishes to the KC fans. I saw where ESPN's Ron Jaworski picked the Chiefs....I guess he's never heard of "mile-high magic". When those 2 teams play, you can throw out the records, stats, and everything else....it's WAR down there on the field... Now if Plummer wasn't our QB, I'd be happy..... I'm still clinging to the back-to-back Superbowl victories.....but even that is fading with time....Elway made it happen in 1998-99. Tonights game: Chiefs 24 Broncos 27 Tire Smoke 69 Sep 26th, 05, 05:35 PM I thought Denver was playing in the Pop Warner league this year. Rich69RS/SS Sep 26th, 05, 06:19 PM I'm a Raider fan and things are going downhill real fast now, it's gonna be a long season. LukeSkywalker Sep 26th, 05, 11:38 PM Lets hear it for the Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure they cleaned house tonight. 1969 RS/SS DROPTOP Sep 27th, 05, 06:08 AM I didn't watch Monday night football for the first time in many years however i did watch Tennessee come back and beat up on LSU, It was great!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate all the bad thats happened with the hurricanes and Louisiana but it sure was sweet watching Tennessee come back after such an awful start to win that game!!!!!!! GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! 3SuperSports Sep 27th, 05, 07:07 AM Damn, that was bad. It is going to be a long season! The Chiefs get Philly next. Ouch. camaroman7d Sep 27th, 05, 09:13 AM Not a Broncos fan or Chiefs fan, but I was rooting for Denver last night they won me just over $200, I was thier biggest fan last night, LOL. Go Colts!!! sincityrsss350 Sep 27th, 05, 09:42 AM Not a Broncos fan or Chiefs fan, but I was rooting for Denver last night they won me just over $200, I was thier biggest fan last night, LOL. Go Colts!!! Go Colts? I'm sorry to say, but I think the only way your Colts and the Steelers are going to Detroit this year is if Bill Belichick sustains a season ending injury and can't coach anymore. I can't remember the last time the Colts beat the Pats, going back to when they were still in the AFC East. Don't get me wrong, the Colts and the Steelers are very good teams. Peyton and Drew Bledsoe just cannot beat a Bill Belichick team. And the Steelers, well, they can't get over the AFC Championship game hump, even at home. At least the Colts will get in other chance to beat the Pats on a cold Monday Night in Foxboro. Should be another great game. :beers: mdprovee Sep 27th, 05, 10:04 AM Pretty good game, a Raiders fan here too. Definately going to be ANOTHER long season. Not sure which game, but just saw on ESPN this morning that the referee crew blew it again this week. With 14:00 minutes left in the fourth quarter, one team's offense ran a play, the play clock started at the end of the play, clicking off only 1 second. A flag was called on the offense, something like holding. They then reset the play clock to 14:55 minutes. The other team ends up kicking a game winning field goal at the end of the game. So there was a extra 55 seconds to help. Gotta love the Referees. Mike camaroman7d Sep 27th, 05, 10:47 AM sincity, You speak like a true (typical) Patriots fan. The patriots finally get decent and you guys lose your minds. It's easy to talk big when you're on taop. Lets see if you come back when your season is over to give props. Last years I was man enough to give props after the Colts got beat. Yes, they have had a hard time with the Patriots the last few years. We'll see what happens this year. Patriot fans are getting to be as bad (or worse) than Raider fans. Do you think they are going back to the Super Bowl this year? They team looks like a MASH unit. You'll be lucky to even make the playoffs. I'm a Die Hard Colts fan, you won't change that. We have been as bad as any team and I still flew the colors. Can you say the same for when the Patriots sucked? ZZ430DropTop67RS Sep 27th, 05, 10:49 AM I thought Denver was playing in the Pop Warner league this year. Pop who? :p Vintage 68 Sep 27th, 05, 11:33 AM Not a Broncos fan or Chiefs fan, but I was rooting for Denver last night they won me just over $200, I was thier biggest fan last night, LOL. Go Colts!!! Way to go Royce  My son had picked KC in some pool he and his wife are in but, when he said that as I was talking to him on Sat. (while we were sanding his truck) I asked him if he was nuts :clonk: Denver has whooped KC's A$$ every 'Mile High' game in the past 5 years - why did think this was going to be different  He was able to change his pick on Sunday - now he "owes" me... :beers: John :waving: sincityrsss350 Sep 27th, 05, 01:14 PM sincity, You speak like a true (typical) Patriots fan. Can you say the same for when the Patriots sucked? I can proudly say my father and I have been season ticket holders since the '80's. I was at the old Foxboro Stadium when it had turf instead of the grass, when there were about 20k in the seats, and all the games were blacked out from T.V. My pops still has either the Bury the Bears or the Squish the Fish shirt from the first and forgettable Superbowl team. So my friend, I am probably as big or a bigger die hard than yourself. I suffered through more than a few years of s**tty teams. I am not a "typical" yahoo fan or a bandwagon jumper. I think I deserve to do a little gloating after years of terrible teams. And please, don't ever compare a crazy-*ss Raider fan who has not won a Superbowl in many, many years, to a Pats fan whose team has won the last 3 out of 4 Superbowls. I suppose your that guy who thinks Tom Brady is overrated too? Lastly, odds are they won't make it back to the big game, but the odds were that way last year when Law and Seymour were gone for the Colts and Steeler playoff games. They will most definately make the playoffs and I would not be suprised to see them three-peat. dragsterman Sep 28th, 05, 02:07 AM :boring: 49ers :D boodlefoof Sep 28th, 05, 07:22 AM Bear down Chicago Bears! RamAirDave Sep 28th, 05, 07:30 PM Message to the Raiders: Since its not looking too good for you guys this year, can we have Randy Moss back? Please? Viking fan, dave camaroman7d Sep 28th, 05, 10:59 PM Sincity, Sounds like you are a true fan and went through the lean times as well. Good for you. Be proud and support your team. Good luck this year. Gloating just doesn't show much class to me. While I am not a big Brady fan, he does what it takes in that system to be successful. It's hard to knock a guy that wins games. No team stays on top forever. Just be willing to take your lumps just like you are dishing them out. I am not one for gloating, if/when the Colts go all the way all you will hear or see from me is a Yipppeee!! It's been a long time coming. As long as we make the playoffs I am happy. Been a fan since they were in Baltimore, will die a Colts fan as well (no matter where they may be). |
