I was under the impression that in 1969, all 4-speed cars had smog installed.

Is this true, or could you have ordered your car without it?

All 69 small blocks with manual trans had manditory smog.

What about Big Blocks?

Lots of information posted on this subject. If you do a search you'll find all the info on the 69's. All 69 big block Camaro's had smog regardless of transmission or horse power (even the mighty ZL-1). :thumbsup:

I believe virtually all 69 b/b regardless of model had smog. Exception is A body automatic.
