It's finally a little warmer so I pulled the 68 out for a couple of pictures. I have the new wheel opening moldings, rocker moldings and front bumper waiting to go on. I'm loving these Vintage Wheel Works rims. http://cjcfo.fbody.com/members/jeffhansbury@comcast.net/JL8/68LT1-1.jpg

Kevin, I've been a member of CJCFO for several years. It's a relaxed group of guys that have Camaros and Firebirds. Some race and others just like to look pretty. :D George Baxter just got his 97 SS 30th anniv conv finished and dyno'd at 1300 hp with his supercharged 383! He should be running some 8's at Englishtown this year. I have an NOS bumper waiting to go on. I got the wheel moldings from Classic Industries and the rocker moldings from Greenwood Chevy off Ebay. They're repro so I'll see how they fit.

Lookin' good Jeff! What size tires are you running?

The front tires are 245/50/16 and the rears are 255/50/16. The wheels are 16x8 with 4.5" bs. I haven't had the chance to drive the car yet and haven't been able to see if they rub in the front so I don't want to comment on that and mislead anyone. But I really like the wheels and Falken Ziex 512 tires.

When it gets painted and put back together. It's still just a shell right now.

Here's a look at the 69 after coming back from the stripper. We ended up doing both quarter panels and the tailpanel due to a previous accident from 1971 and repairs that were lousy. Hopefully it will be painted within the next couple of months.
