Any minitub guys out there I have a question. What length did you narrow the rear to? Mine is a stock length out of a 68, and am usings DSE's kit.

Are you planning on cutting an original Camaro 12 bolt? You would be much better off to find an Impala housing and narrow it instead of messing up a Camaro 12 bolt. You are going to have to move the spring perches, order custom axles and cut the housing anyway. It would be just as easy to do an Impala 12 bolt housing and save the Camaro 12 bolt. I built an Impala rear end for a '69 Camaro with mini tubs and narrowed it 4 inches rarrower than a stock Camaro rear end.

Been looking for a ford 9" but not having much luck. The 12 bolt is from a 68 camaro but the factory spring brackets have been removed and replaced with a moroso style bracket. Plus its been fitted with c-clip elimantors, strang axles and spool. I was planning on just using it and getting new axles and eaton posi unit. with the 2" per side narrowing do you remember the size wheel (width & Backspace) & tire went on? Thanks for the reply.

I still have the wheels and tires in my shop. They are 10X15 Centerline Wariors with 275 60 15 tires. All are new, never even had a lug nut on them. Would you be interested in them? The owner died and I was left to sell the parts. The only problem with the wheels is that they have the 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern. He ordered them wrong. It wouyldn't matter if you are going to get new axles. You could get the axles with the 4 1/2 and 4 3/4 bolt patterns drilled.

And use Grade-8, 1/2" Al-thread bolts for lug bolts too b/c they are stronger, imho.
