can anyone tell me how big i can go with wheels and tires on my 79 camaro?

I have a 79 do you think I could go 16x9 with 10" wide tire

18's are very doable.

I have a 77 LT with 18"s all around on lo-pro tires. Don't go any bigger than 245/40/18's's on front. However I am dropping to 235/40/18s up front just to cut down on the ever occasional fender rub. When I slam a dip or am haulin' very fast I can rub slightly. New shocks up front may cure but I am going to 235's just to allow to handle better and get my car to track straighter.

I have 275/30/18" on back. Work great. However, 285's rub inside on rear.
