Does anyone know who sells correct "original" reproduction or NOS valve covers for 68 camaro SB, 327/275?

Thanks

I would look on ebay for a decent set. They usually come up on there from time to time and are usually reasonably priced. OR run an ad in the classifieds here. I have got good response on some of the wanted ads that I have run.

Like a broken record... Rick's sells them... both original and reproduction.

Ricks only sells 67's. I think the PVC valve is different. YearOne and national don't sell 68. Most everyone has chrome aftermarkets.

I still have mine in the basement, I'll try to get a pic up. Not for sale, sorry.

I must have dreamed it... I just double-checked the catalog, and yes indeed, you are right, only the '67.

I picked mine up on e-bay about a year ago. I paid $103.00 for them, they are in mint condition and I've seen a few sets up for auction since then. Hope this helps, RonM.

For my b/b, no one made correct repops, so I searched ebay for a year or so, and found the correct ones. Paid almost $200 to have them re-chromedget. That was painful, but it was the only I could find to get the correct ones. Of course, rather than cheap flash chrome, like the originals, I went the show chrome route.

Off to ebay I go, unless there's someone with a pair in their basement (wink-wink Mr. JimM) they want to sell.

grab a mint set of stockers and have them chromed...your probably not going to want old used scratched ones on your car anyway...

Thanks for the picture of the valve covers. I have the original ones on my car, but they are peeling a little. Does it cost a lot to get them re-chromed?
Thanks

I think the price varies quite a bit. Up here it would cost me about $175 to get a set like the ones shown done. You would have to find a place that does chroming and get a quote.
