Hello- Need some help again with decoding a trim tag. Trying to get a good picture, but here's what I have:

Is 4K for L78? and 3L is Rally Sport?

I'll give it a shot....with the help of decoder of course!!!
1 = Chevrolet
2 = Camaro
4 = 8-cylinder engine
37 = coupe body
7 = 1967 model year
N = Norwood, OH assembly plant
254046 = vehicle serial number sequence
Decode for body number: 153387
07B = Built the Second week of July.
67-12637 = Custom Interior Coupe.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
797 = Custom Parchment/Black Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats (without headrests).
R-2 = Lower Color is Bolero Red and the Vinyl Top Color is Black.
K = Interior paint is Black
Options:
1W = (A02) Tinted W/S only
2L = (M21) 4-speed floor shifter
2G = (D55) Console front compartment
3S = (Z23) Interior Decor group
3L = (Z22) Rally Sport Package
4K = (L78) SS 396
5C = (AS1) Shoulder harness - regular

is the org 396 still in the car? if so whats the dates/codes off the front engine pad?

Nope. Sadly the original engine is gone.

Even though the original motor is gone its always very cool to see a 67 L-78, rare car...there were only 1138 made. Cant be to many left kicking around

Trans has been replaced. Don't know about rear. I gave the contact info to another member here. Maybe he can chime in if more info has been discovered?

The owner isn't a "numbers" guy and didn't know about the rear. He owns a body shop...and didn't even know if the quarter panels were original??? I gave up after that comment. He wants $25K for the car...
