I talked with the RHS rep at the Drag Week event a couple weeks ago and he said they are currently only selling existing stock. Apparently because of the QC problems ProTopline had before going out of business RHS wound up taking every head and setting it up in a fixture to check and make sure they were machined right before selling (apparently many were not). They will be tooling up again soon with proper QC procedures in place to start making new heads pretty soon at the same New Zealand foundry. Right now its hit-and-miss on what they have available.

Fwiw, RHS is right across the parking lot from CC there on Democrat street in Memphis, TN.

Head towards Tupelo, Miss on Hwy 78 and turn right onto Democrat and turn right again just before the RR tracks and you are there.

I have a set of the ProComps out of Australia. Sitting the 2 heads side by side (the procomp and pro topline) and I swear they are the same head except the pro toplines dont have the stupid lines in the casting on the face of the head. BOth had valve seats installed at different depths in the head. WHen you looked at the both of them with valves installed and put a straight edge across the valve tips, There was a big difference in clearance between the tip of the valve and the straight edge. This was on both heads. ****ty quality in my opinion. My Darts arent like that. Everything is bang on. I will admit that for the price of the procomps they are performing excellent. When I get to the track I will know better though.

when i got mine i asked my machinist to lap the valves in,that obviously wouldn't help unequal seat depths.using hydraulic lifters, but wondering what difference this would make if they're off?
