I have a really beautiful 95 Camaro Z-28 with a 350 LT-1. But I have this problem with it.

1) It just loves to overheat

2)It also loves to not want to start soon after I turn it off.

I have to wait about 20-30 minutes for it to finally start. And during the starting process, it sounds very eratic as if it's not firing on all 8 cylinders but then as minutes go by, it smooths out and idles smoothly. Of course those "Check Engine", Service Engine Soon" and the little coolant level lights come on as well but then disappear. But then soon after the "Coolant Level" light comes on even though I put coolant in it already. Does anyone have any idea what the problem(s) could be?

I would check the coolant temp sensor. Could be bad which would cause the car to overheat and it may be part of the cold start problems as well.
