anyone using spin tech mufflers?

IMO they sound great, although what sounds good to me may not sound good to you. A buddy of mine has them on his 55 with a 406 and 1-7/8 headers, its loud, you can hear it coming from way out. I run ultra flows and there pretty loud too, no tail pipes, 2-1/8 pipes 3.5" into x-pipe and dump right before the rear. Great for a pro-street car but it gets old quick when your on the highway for any length of time. I amagine tails would help quiet it down some. I guess it depends on what your building, how much flow your looking for and how much noise you can tolerate. Im starting to sound like a 44 year old SCARY! Good luck Rich

I run them on my 468, 3" mandrel into an x pipe and all the way out back with the mufflers under the trunk floor. Ladder bars and x pipe left no where under the floor. I have the Pro streets i belive.

I like the sound. Real deep rumble at low rpm's and at about 3k the tone really begins to change. Gets Raspy, Goes up in pitch, at 6500 it sounds like 8k. Really different, never heard the sound on any other car.

I get compliments on how it sound all the time.

Don't mind them on the road, but they don't dump under the car. Is still load even from way back there.

have "pro street" w/ oval outs on a heads/cam LT1 (1 3/4" hooker long tubes) and they sound like nothing else around here

I'm running the UltraFlow 3 - 1/2" inlet/outlet, welded, 6" round units. They have a rumble at idle then get raspy and higher in pitch as the RPM's come up. Kinda unique sound. They are nothing like a turbo.

Since they are a straight through muffler they are the ultimate in flow potential.

Naw.....they just ripped the Technology from them!

I used to have the Prostreet Spintechs on my V8 240z with an x pipe. Sounded very nasty. Had they high pitch scream like a cup car.
