I want to go however, it is also the weekend before my anniversary. You know how that is . . . LOL If I can push that get-a-way weekend with the wife back a week I'm all set . . .

Geez, I sure hope the wife doesn't read this

Hey Mike! Had anyone interested in the 'vette lately?? Have you changed anything on it since the 10.26 pass??

I had a guy calling about it from NC, he wanted to know how he would get it home, I told him drive it, if it didn't make it from IN to NC i would come get it and refund his money.

I changed the turbo 350 and 10" 3000 stall converter to the 700r-4 and a 2400 stall converter. This dropped .1 in the 60' on motor and ran a 12.8@106 with the mufflers on, uncapped it went 11.19@119 ,1.55 60' and the 200 shot it went 10.69@127.5, 1.69 60'...it spun the tires when the second stage came on. These tires are 2 yrs old and worn out. On the 10.26 pass the #'s were 10.26@126..1.46 60'. The wife and i drove the car 350 miles 2 weekends ago and i'll tell you the 2100 RPM @ 70 MPH was nice, plus 27 MPG on the HWY.

that's about it.

OMG! That's rediculous!! A mid-ten second street car and 27 MILES PER GALLON!!
Have you considered running at the Pump Gas Drags? With the way it runs you could probably do pretty well!

Have you found another car for the next project??

this car doesn't run that fast on pump gas. My personal rule is anything over a 100 shot must be on race gas. I run 112 octane with the 200 shot and 28 deg total timing, that how the hyper pistons stay alive in there. I could run low 11's on 93 safley, that's about it.

It wouldn't really be competitive at the pump gas drags -- they are going 8's there. But it would be a perfect car for Drag Week . . . it would make the trip no sweat I'm sure and still run competitively in the small block power added class. And there is no rule about race gas -- just no availability at the tracks during the event.

As of today, I am planning on making the trip to Stanton next weekend. I managed to move the anniversary thing. Hope to see you guys there!
