Slowly but surely I am pulling the guts out of the inside of my 67 coupe. What started out as simply replacing ratty carpeting has turned into a much bigger project - or series of projects, I should say. I recently pulled out the trunk divider board. It's in pretty good shape for being as old as it is. No holes, tears, or water damage. It does not have jute backing on it, yet I see in Rick's First Gen catalog (and other sources) that you can buy replacement boards with a jute backing attached. My question is, was the jute backing a factory option, or is the replacement product an example of something that never was?
