Anybody ever put this on a camaro or have a pic of it on one?

Cause I was contemplating buying one.

See if you can get a good front shot of it, and then take one low from the front down a little so I can see how the profile of it looks like.

Ok, but keep in mind the car is in bad shape and the hood is in worse. But it should give you a good idea if you lke the look.

Depends on the year. The early ones came with a Corvette-style Stinger hood.

Man, that's not too awfully bad looking, to be honest.
And to think I threw away the fiberglass L88 hood that was on my '69 when I bought it.

IMO while the pics look good, the first pic from up22 looks like that hood has a shorter scoop than the blue car and the motion car. I would find a different vendor that has the larger scoop. Maybe Hrrwood or VFN?

I like the stinger hood too :)

Personally I never cared for the L88 Scoop on a Camaro - Too high and they vibrate like crazy. If you can get away with the 2" LT1 scoop for clearance, I recommend you use it - Even then you need to use Block Spacers to prevent them from flapping.

thats cool you don't like the L88 hoods, I can appreciate that. to me that just means one less L88 hood on a camaro. I tend to like the cowl induction hoods and had one back when I ran my camaro in the late 80's. their weren't too many options for hoods back then and most people had stock or cowl hoods. now a days their are a few more options including the "stinger" wich I also tend to like. I know these are quite popular latley so were starting to see more of them around.

I dont really know what hood I'll run in the end as I have many personal issues holding up my progress. I do know I need more underhood clearence than a stinger or a normal cowl hood can provide. I have a few tricks planned for whatever hood I decide to run. I also don't think the "vibration" issue of the L88 hood will affect my particular application if I do decide to use one. none the less your opinion and input are appreciated. I also wold like to thank JeffD for posting the pics.

IMO FWIW,
The stock Cowl Induction is at home on the 1st gen Camaros and looks best there.
The L88 hood looks very sweet on the 2nd gen Camaros.
Either way, some will like, some will dislike.
But, then again, it's your ride, Do what YOU! want.
Don't forget the spoilers!

Had one fiberglassed onto a steel hood WAAAAY back in the day. Irritating to have to drain the water out of the crease after a rain. Has only seen rain once now in 20+ years and has a steel cowl. A friend had a FG L88 on a 68 Z28, looked cool enough in 1975.
