Hey Guys,

WHen I make a wide right turn, like a long right exit off of a parkway, I hear a rolling sound coming from the left rear of the car sounds like from inside the trunk. There isn't anything in there, so I thought it was the tire rubbing, since I have taller tires 245/60 R14 I believe, but the tires seem to have enough room.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Nick

Take the left rear wheel off and inspect the rear wheel well area for signs of rubbing. When turning right the car will lean to the left while the tire attempts to remain planted. Also, the depth of your rim may be a factor here. The deeper the wheel, the closer the tire is to the inner side of the well. From what you say, it sounds like a rub. If not, it could possibly be a bearing beginning to go bad ...
