Went on a tip to an old "salvage yard" looking for Camaro parts. Just happened to catch the fellow there. Within 100 feet of his old shop was 2 67 Camaros and a 68. Of course I didnt have anything to write with, but 1 was an LA and 1 a Nor car. I remember line 2 and 3 of 1 tag was 2ELGSR 3SL. This car had remains of a black deluxe interior.
The 2 67s had no front caps, one just a stripped subframe, other a complete subframe. 68 was a roller with wasted body.
We talked a while, then I asked price he said, "Well you know "so and so" and "so and so" , so when you get in from offshore, come one morning with some tools, a mechete, and I'll take you to see the 30 some odd Novas and Camaros, and we'll see what we have for parts." Come to find out, he has 40 plus acres of old cars.
SatisTraction, how soon do you need a subframe? I am leaving in the morning to go to the Miss. coast to help out, will be back Friday night, as we have church functions Sat & Sun, and I leave for overseas Monday for a month. (Got to go back to work)
Sorry about the long post, but I am excited to have found some OLD cars to get parts from! Said he REFUSES to let any of them be crushed.
