Im thinking of buying a complete R/S headlight /grill assy. from Classic Industries or is there any others out there, it says assy required and on the 69 kit do you have to weld the clips on front fenders ? has anyone put this in there standard 69 and what kind of a job is it and does it fit nice thanks

Its a good weekend job to install the entire kit, but not impossible. Yes, you will need to install RS adapter brackets on your standard fenders. Most guys plug weld these, although some have used pop rivets. If you have repro fenders, some already include the RS tabs at the top of the opening, so you might be able to save a step. Classic is a high dollar kit, but a very complete kit too. You will also need to paint the headlight doors as well as the edge of the RS grille to match the car.
