68 camaro tires

what do you guys run on your 68. i want to run 17 inch wheels and maybe 245's in the rear if they will fit. some help would be great and im not looking for tires that stick out past the wheel wells, just stuff that looks good.

I'm also to that point. Anybody have some pictures of how this looks[17x9.5 ] I've got my entire front end sitting here & don'twant to mount any thing if it has to go get mini tubbed I'm looking to get the widest rim/tire combo under the rear w/o having to cut anything as this was not in the original plans . Thanks.

I have been checking out the forums and from what I have read is that 17x8s with 4.75 b/s and 255/45/17 will work without rubbing. I think 5 b/s will work also.

Some guys are running 17x9.5s with 5.5 b/s and 275/40/17. However, I have heard of some rubbing and some people had to roll the front fender lip.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
