I am looking at a set of wheels in sizing of : front 16x8 4.4" back spacing and rear 18x8.5 4.446" backspacing. Tires sizes: front 235/50/16 or 245/50/16 and rear 275/35/18.

68 Vert w/ 350 sbc with all new stock springs (mono rear) and stock suspension every where.

Will the rear wheel and tire work with out rubbing?
I believe the fronts are fine with what I have found with the search tool.

The only good thing about this combo is the overall tire diameter is close (25.1/25.3) but that's it - keep in mind that since the front is a 16 and the rear is an 18 that means an 1" more sidewall in the front - that would not look right in most people's opinion. Besides that the backspacing is all wrong also. The standard is 8" wide wheel in the front with 4.75" backspace and 9.5" in the rear with 5.5" backspace. Do a search the right sizes have been discussed here in detail serveral times over.
