Just attempted to post but think I screwed up. Have a 69 RS/SS with 275's in rear and 245's in front. 17" rims. Not sure of sidewall dimensions without taking another look. Maybe 50's. Pic is available on my profile page.
I get a good deal of rubbing on the fender walls when I hit a good sized dip or pothole. This happens especially often with my chubby beer drinking buddys in the car. Makes a God aweful sound. I've read a good deal about this here, but have not found a good solution to limit suspension travel.
Looking to locate oversized control arm and rear axle bumpers. Not sure where to buy them, if they are even made? I hate to be stuck taking a bunch of hockey pucks to the drill press. Thanks!
