There are 4 speaker all togather one in each kick panel and in the back were the top folds down into.

That is how factory rear vert speakers are installed and how they look. If I had a 67 Assembly Instruction Manual, I'd check the U57 tape player option (I assume this is the 67 we decoded here previously) and confirm, but four speakers as you describe is correct for U57 in my 69 AIM.

Yes, this is the 67 vert we decoded. To bad someone pull the tape player out and put a am in it. I just purchase a assembly instruction manual, I will have to look.

Yeah Pat, U57 will be almost in the back of the book, not many options after that (except of course the Z's).

The tape player was a separate unit from the radio, and I think the radio played through the dash and the tape through the 4 speakers. That car has some really nice options, but it may be a challenge (financial, mental, physical) to get it all back. Besides, then you'd have to dig up some old 8-tracks ;)

Thank's for the info, I looked it up last nite and saw it was separate. Now I know were to put the speakers for a more moderm system.
