I just bought this '67 Camaro. It's a base 327, obviously an incorrect color (Viper Blue), and has a reproduction '68 SS vinyl/stencil stripe on it, but the only rust was in the very outer lip of the drivers' side wheel lip. It has belonged to a friend of mine for years. It looks good enough to cruise around in until I have the $$ to return it to it's original color.

It came with the stock 14" Ralley's with short caps and rings, and also these Weld Draglites. Wheels appear to be 15X8 and 15X4.5 with decent tires. Fairly good looking, just not really my thing-

I'm really in to the Billett wheel (a la Budnik, Boyd Coddington, Billett Specialties) look. Eventual plans will be to have the car look like it came from the late '60's (with period correct add-on gauges, valve covers/engine dress, etc) but be sitting on 17" wheels.

Opinions? Thoughts? Does anybody have a wheel that they really like on these?

I was pretty much in the same boat as you are. I had 15" rally wheels. I ended up going with the 17" boyd coddington smoothie 2's with low profile tires. Let me tell you it definitely was the best purchase i've made for the car yet! The torq thrust series from American Racing are a lot cheaper but many people use these are their cars. I've also seen 17' Cragar SS's on a 67 and they looked sweet! The best advice I can give is use the internet. By now their is hundreds of people that have done the same thing your looking to do so run a search on your wheel and year that you think will look best. That will give you a good idea of how they will look.
Good luck and happy hunting

My car is done in my idea of a "period "60's-70's hot rod" she rolls on Cragar SS big n littles, 16 in front 17 in back.
