I know CarlC posted this in the cruising section, but I don't know how many have seen it.

The Los Angeles Super Chevy is this Sat, Sun at Pamona. I know some of us are planning to meet there on Sunday to show our cars. The more the merrier so,

Saturday may be a little dead. It's supposed to rain. I'll definately be there Sunday. Sadly my car is not ready. Originally the plan was to debut it at this show, but it was stuck in paint prison for way too long.

Forget Super Chevy, sign me up for Glamis. It's been too long since I've shaken sand out of my Underoos...

Its supposed to rain pretty damn hard this weekend so all of you guys that are going to bring your cars out please be carefull and try not to get into a wreck. The two worst crashes I've been to involved a 69 Camaro over the side on its roof and a fully restored 55 Bel Air narrowed by about a foot. Drive to arrive.

Did anyone go out there today? Rained all morning. It must have been pretty dead. Hopefully the sun will be out tomorrow and I can check it out.

I went on Sunday, met up with Carl and John. Both super nice guys, and they have super nice cars. The show was great, a bit cold and overcast, but it didn't rain. Some great drag racing, and alot of nice show cars (some not so nice too, but everyone was having a good time). No doubt I'll be making this an annual event.

So, guys, how did your cars fare in the show? Any prizes?

Success at Super Chevy,

Sunday was a much better day, weather wise, only a few sprinkles in the morning.

Carl and I both won Runner-up trophies in our respected classes - Carl in the 68 Street class and myself in the 67-69 Modified class.

It was great meeting you guys out there, hopefully next year it won't rain and more of us will have a chance to meet.

It was great meeting up with you guys. Maybe next year we can have a bigger group of cars. How about a Super Chevy Las Vegas group in November?
