Well, I think I finally decided on a color for my 67 paint job.

I like the (don't say it) color of the 2005 Nissan 300ZX and am trying to find the paint chip code so that I can provide it to my body/paint guy. If anyone knows how to find this on line, please let me know.

By the way, if you are in San Diego and want a good job done at a reasonable price. www.acmbodyandpaint.com out of Escondito does a great job. You should see the Vett he just completed.

For 6K, they are stripping my car down, removing fendors painting, welding out cancer with metal fab to fill. They are also redoing my drunk pan and painting the front fendor skirts and as much of the engine compartment as they can. I'll have before and after pictures for you to see. Just thought I'd pass it along because the other quotes that I got are around 10-12K for this work and this guy has done a bunch of show cars including my neighbors BMW.

Which one of the eight colors are you asking? If it is the Nissan 350Z Pikes Peak White, its QX1.

Men only know eight colors, women know all 1024 of them. Take her to Lowe's, er, don't, I should say.........

Your body/paint guy should be able to get the color code.
If not, go to any autobody supply house and ask to look at their paint book that includes 2005.

If it's the blue, that's a great color and is the color I'm going with. I'm afraid that by the time I get my car done, it will be very common because I'm seeing a lot of blue cars of that shade in the shops. Anyway, the PPG code is DBU 6176 K.

Yup, it is the metallic blue. The car was originally blue but I like this blue much better.
