Well, I think I finally decided on a color for my 67 paint job.
I like the (don't say it) color of the 2005 Nissan 300ZX and am trying to find the paint chip code so that I can provide it to my body/paint guy. If anyone knows how to find this on line, please let me know.
I guess I am going for standard white for the z28 stripes as well. Here are the dimensions that I found one the forum here in case you are curios...
Z28 Stripe Positions
Front of Hood:
From fender/header panel joint 5.98"
Narrow stripe 0.25"
Gap 0.38"
Stripe 12.46"

(This should be centered on the depression in the cowl panel and the narrow stripe runs around the top of the depression - approx 1.36" from rear of cowl panel)
From edge of hood 6.56"
Narrow stripe 0.25"
Gap 0.38"

By the way, if you are in San Diego and want a good job done at a reasonable price. www.acmbodyandpaint.com out of Escondito does a great job. You should see the Vett he just completed.
For 6K, they are stripping my car down, removing fendors painting, welding out cancer with metal fab to fill. They are also redoing my drunk pan and painting the front fendor skirts and as much of the engine compartment as they can. I'll have before and after pictures for you to see. Just thought I'd pass it along because the other quotes that I got are around 10-12K for this work and this guy has done a bunch of show cars including my neighbors BMW.
