Hi all.

I am looking at the inside of my rear wheel wells with tires off. I am starting to work in suspension and such. I noticed the inside sheet metal around where the shocks and frame are are different on the drivers side then the passenger side. It looks like someone was winging it when thay were putting in the metal, Does someone have a left/right picture of what the rear wheel wells are supposed to look like inside. 1968 Camaro coupe.

Thanks

Ray,
The shock mounts are not the same on both sides. The RH side is forward and the shock mounts to the mount at the front of the axle. The LH is back and mounts to the back of the axle. Here are the best pics I can find.

Thanks for the pic's Chuck69ss.

That explains the difference, it's funny, I knew that the shocks were staggered but totally forgot about it when I was looking at it. I've got the car jacked up on stands and looking at the two sides this is what the inside of the wheel well looks like from the outside. I cannot tell if it's done right or not, I have no reference for what it is supposed to look like.
