hi on my m21 how can you check to see if the speedo gear is working properly
i have an autometer electric speedo with the correct 3 wire sending unit and it still does not read

Take the adapter off first, then have a freind start the car and put it in gear. The plastic driven gear in the speedo bullit should spin, that's what drives the adapter for the autometer speedo.
