Thanks for your reply do know what size the valves are? and also the suffix code is the same motor as the back of the block code. does that make sense? :confused:

I would imagine that it's a 1968 327 from a Camaro.
It confuses me as well. The gurus of knowledge will know for sure why the discrepency.
I'd only be guessing about valve sizes, from inexperience, but I'd imagine they're small 1.94/1.50.

My big valve virgin chambered -461's cc'ed at 66.0 and 66.+ cc's! You can see and feel the factory big valve head plunge-cut too.
I figure the 62 cc stuff come's from 1.72"/1.50" valve -461's and the 64 cc from 1.94"/1.50" -461 heads...
