thanks...

Well, a lot of the electronics won't be used with the carb, especially if you go manual choke or no choke at all. One thing that might happen is that a "check engine" light or similar warning indicator may stay lit on the dash with the computer disconnected. For this, I would just pull the bulb. I guess ultimately, the engine won't need any of that EFI stuff once you go carb, but that might interfere with some emission laws depending on where you live, not sure. I live in Canada, so I know a lot of guys who just swap to a carb and toss the EFI, and don't need to worry about emissions. It may not be so cut and dry where you are.

you could just swap all the EFI stuff to the other block, and not worry about smog laws

Here is my advise. Don't do it! I would way rather have fuel injection. Unless the rs has a 6cyl?

all that...

B2l will run ok on carb but for a daily driver better to keep the EFI...

if it is a V6 remeber the trans bellhousing is much different...

if for a lack of options you must go carb... get a good fuel pressure regulator with a return for the pressure the stock fuel pump will provide... as well, you will need a distributor w/ mechanical and vacuum advance...

another thing to take note of...

VATs... the pass key system and figuring out how to get it all to work reliably or eliminating it from the integrated system... (this then without the ECM controls make it interesting to say the least... keep a bunch of reference matierial hady to include a conplete chassis wiring diagrasm...

thanks...I do not think a 91 IROC came with a carb. So if it is, what is really in that engine, because I am guessing it is not original?

Also, emissions laws need to be considered.
