I have an oil leak on my 12-bolt rear. It is in the front where it connects to the drive shaft. How hard is that to fix? Simple or take to a transmission shop? Back plate seal is fine.

The front seal is leaking. Do a search for "pinion seal" on this sight and you will get all of the information that you need.
