BonzoHansen Oct 22nd, 05, 09:12 PM Did you change any wiring? Or maybe put the plug in backwards? mikepmntl Oct 22nd, 05, 09:15 PM there is only one way to put the plug into the fan ...... although some of the wires going and coming from the relays might have been changed around ..... ? does anyone have a diagram or know how they are supposed to go ... ? Run269 Oct 22nd, 05, 09:22 PM aren't the fans supposed to pull air THRU the radiator? i'm assuming of course the fan sits between the radiator and the motor. mikepmntl Oct 22nd, 05, 09:36 PM nah man, it's supposed to blow air THRU the radiator, thats what helps it out and keeps it cool .... ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OR HELP ... thanx for the input so far guys ... MrDanB Oct 22nd, 05, 10:14 PM Mike, I had a blue 87 iroc "back in the day" lol Are the fans something you just now installed? If so, you need to check the wiring. If they are stock from the factory, I don't see how they could just start spinning backwards out of the blue like that  Let's see if other guys chime in... Dano :beers: mikepmntl Oct 22nd, 05, 10:28 PM Hey guys i have solved the problem ...... thanx for all the input, what i did was .... i swithced the positive and negative cables around that were going directly to the fan .... and it worked: the fan spun clockwise and there is no more heating up on my iroc..... thanx for all the feedback .. - Mike BonzoHansen Oct 23rd, 05, 07:53 AM nah man, it's supposed to blow air THRU the radiator, thats what helps it out and keeps it cool .... ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OR HELP ... thanx for the input so far guys ... My T/A fan was a 'puller' setup. It pulled air in from the outside of the car. Are you saying yours pushes air from the engine compartment through the radiator? |
