I name all my vehicles. smile.gif The camaro is T2, the first 4th gen I owned was called toughy and so the next just became T2.
There is Yogi (the yukon) and BooBoo (an s15 Jimmy) followed by Johnny Buick then sniff and snort (97 sportster and 93 dyna low rider). only the chevelle never got a full name, it's just 'the ragtop' or 'ol girl, not a cool name like the 'white wonder' ;)

Hole-y Grail

Get it? ;) When it's no longer "hole-y", I'll have to come up with a new name. Probably HwyStar which is going to be on the license plate.

I was thinking of naming it "401k" or "Stock Option", for obvious reasons. It already has a few nick-names, most of which can't be printed here!

When I had my corvette my daughter was only 3- she used to call it "the noisey car" My 77 blazer was "the rust bucket" -we called our Olds Intrigue "the limo" (It was the first four door car we owned). My 78 Z28 was just called "the Z" Our boat was named the "Die Yuppie Scum" (big reflective red letters across the back) -the "scummer" for short. Not really pet names I guess...more like a discription!!!

Being down here, my wife came up with "Camaron." That is "shrimp" in Spanish and an obvious play on Camaro. Shrimp are orange and so is the car, yadda, yadda, blah, blah.

In 1981 The Oregon State University men's basketball team was undefeated and ranked #1 in the country before losing their final game of the season. They came to be known around these parts as "The Orange Express", hence the unofficial name of my '69.

Either that or just that big ol' pile of crap that takes up space in the garage.

Well, I had thought long and hard for a good name for mine...but all I could think of is "The Red Bomber" My wife calls it "that stinky old car", but after meeting Al, Dannis, and click...I think
"The Moon Machine" might work :D

Mine is in the sig as well. My plate reads WHT RAT which I intended to mean White Rat but since everywhere I take it, it seems to rain, it is becoming known as Wet Rat now.

I haven't really come up with a name yet. There is still plenty of time. My wife calls it "that damn car", the kids call it "daddy's hot rod".

"Baby", wifes 03 Intrepid
"Ike", my 87 5th Avenue (53K)
"the Police car" my company car
In the past:
"Blue Dog" 83 Ford F150
"Joe" 81 Ford F150
"Ho" 83 Hurst Olds
"Sh#t Car" 82 Escort
"Monte" 73 Monte Carlo
"David E" 58 VW (yes, 1958)
"Cliff" 61 Nova convertible
It got so bad, my mechanic (back then) called the cars by name, "hey Jim, Cliff needs new ball joints.

Are we really this silly? YEP!

My mom namedm my 69' "Sweet Pea", because of the Frost Green color. My dad's 67' is called the "White Rabbit". We didn't name it that, the original owner did. I can't seem to come up with a name for my truck...oh well.

My dad had cool names for his VW Bug's back in the day. "Glitter Bug"-Met. Brown, "Beula"-Met. Blue, and I jokingly call his Orange bug "The Hugger". graemlins/thumbsup.gif
