Rocketrod Oct 26th, 05, 08:17 PM My experience with the repop moldings was horrible. The finish on them wasn't very good, but the fit was the worst. I attempted to installed the passenger side front molding and by the time I got to the final bolt it was close to 2" off. I have talk to others locally who had simialr experiences. From what I hear there is one supplier of repop moldings so I as far as I am concerned it true GM moldings or forget it. If you do go the GM route good luck finding the right rear molding. For some reason they didn't produce them in complete sets and there is a shortage which really drives the price up. I have contacted a few vendors who had the right rear and they wanted $200 for just that one or $400 for the set. Straight-line-69 Oct 26th, 05, 08:42 PM I couldn't agree more with the opinion above. They're junk and should not be on market. The fit is ridiculously bad. kz1000ltd Oct 26th, 05, 09:06 PM Exactly, that's why the real GM ones are hitting 500 bucks a set on eBay, SUPPLY AND DEMAND!!! |
