Am I crazy? kz1000ltd Nov 1st, 05, 07:18 PM Affirmative. JimM Nov 1st, 05, 08:03 PM absolutely totally stark raving bonkers. clwilcox33 Nov 2nd, 05, 06:51 AM I Strongly don't recommend it. It's been asked a few times on here before so a few searches would have gotten you a bit more opinions on the topic: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=12260 http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=57719 http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=66580 There's lots more on the topic, but I think you get the idea. Do some more searches if you're still not convinced; and if that doesn't work, we'll keep talking until you ARE convinced it's a bad idea. 327!275hp!Convt! Nov 2nd, 05, 05:28 PM It isn’t like modern day cars that you may of heard of. You can’t just cut the hard top off & make it a convertible. There were many structural differences in the old days between a hard top & convertible, basically from the ground up. If you really want a convertible, sell the coupe & buy a project off of ebay. :) 67spudcamaro Nov 2nd, 05, 07:59 PM Thanks for all the opinions! I was thinking it probably wasn't a good idea and you guys definately confirmed that! It still will be fun to take this car out of a barn and make it new again. dropit69 Nov 15th, 05, 09:30 PM if ya want a convertible just fix that one up sell it put money tword a convert..i own 3 convertibles..so i am biasd |
