: March Goodguys!!
Anyone going to the Goodguys in Pleasanton on Mar 23rd & 24th. Our club got an invite to display about 20 cars indoors for both days. Be sure to look for the Camaros Limited Nor~Cal exhibit and stop in and say hi! As I understand it will have a whole building for our Camaros...

lil_beast_67 Mar 1st, 02, 10:57 PM I'll most likely be there, but I don't know whether or not I'll be bringing my car, friends will be in from college and so I don't know if I can be out for a whole day.
onemorecamaro Mar 2nd, 02, 03:44 AM Dennis, Is it too late to join your club? Sounds like fun. I should be there either with car or ala-carte. Looking forward to getting the season started.
John
clill Mar 2nd, 02, 04:09 AM I'll be there, shooting Flares in the air so JoeG can find his way.

By the way, we've tentatively scheduled Saturday, May 18th for Camaro Generations to meet at Sacramento Raceway for "Track Night". Mark your calendar and spread the word...

lil_beast_67 Mar 2nd, 02, 09:48 AM I was thinking about it and if you guys want, my house is about a mile away from the washington 680 on ramp in fremont, right before it heads into the hills for pleasanton. since it's less than two minutes from the freeway and not really out of the way, we could meet here for donuts, bagels and coffee before heading to pleasanton, it's a good last stop to double check cars and wipe everything off before hitting the hills. If anyone likes this idea I could email dennis and everyone else my address. Besides, it would make for a good photo op to have us all cruising together and all the cars in one spot before the show.
Joe G Mar 2nd, 02, 06:50 PM Thanks, Charlie! I'll look for the flares. What color? Don't want to get confused! http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
I'll see you guys there.
John, if you want to cruise down together, the coffee machine is still working!

This may be a stupid question, but are the Goodguys only in march every year, or also more times a year? Reason for asking is that I want to go to the US on vacation (in the near future), it would be the absolute climax of the vacation if I would be at the Goodguys someday and maybe meet some of you guys!
Are there any other "historical" meetings in your "neighbourhood"?!
thanks,

Last year the Camaro Coral was a deal between Goodguys and WCA. Brian (WCA west coast rep) said he hadn't heard anything mentioned about it this year...

Z28 Mark @home Mar 17th, 02, 03:13 PM Steve- Where in San Jose will you be? They just did a lot of track along the Monetary Rd between the downtown main yard heading South to Morgan Hill and Gilroy. Will you be in that giant track machine that you talked about some time ago?
Mark (A.K.A. Z28 Mark)
stevo camaro Mar 17th, 02, 06:22 PM They sent us to an area called corporal, you can see the equipment from 101. It's down in gilroy. Emergency job. Apparently the west coasts largest fertilizer plant can't get any rail cars in because the track is so screwed up. 12 miles & 12,000 ties in 7 days will do it. BUT, they told me & the other operator of the CAT we weren't going. Instead, we'll start "roading" (traveling by rail) the machine up to north eastern OR. It's too big to load with the other equipment. It'll take 5-6 days, and while you guy's are at the show, I'll most likely be running it right through pleasanton towards sac. The first day back to work will be saturday. http://www.camaros.net/forum/rolleyes.gif
