Took my pinchweld molding off my Norwood car and I am sure it is the first time it has been off since the factory. I had to drill the screws out. Besides the clips, I find this alum (or somekinda metal) foil tape stuck to the pinchweld prior to the clips going on. It looks like GM was sealing the pinchweld from moisture. I will get some foil tape and duplicate it when it is reassembly time. Learn something new about Camaros everyday!

Think it was there to protect the paint when the trim went on. Look really closely at the rear edge, and you see perforations where the tape could be torn off, probably after the trim was installed.
