Well, RUSTY, best of luck finding a better 1st gen site and a better group of guys that are willing to help and share their knowledge/experience. Last I checked, you had several replies to your questions with people willing to help.

When you start several threads that each ask the same vague question, then have a bad attitude about not getting a quick response, what do you expect?

Just sayin,

Dude, take it easy...This site rocks.....20,000 people can't be wrong..

Remember in your posts you need to be more specific sometimes so that you can get a real answer....

Also, taking on a project like yours and replacing nearly all of the steel is a huge challenge....I'm sure many of the big dogs here wouldn't even attempt it... There are many awesome Camaro restoration books that discuss in detail the sequence of how to best restore a car......A great tool !

Remember this site is also a tool and when used properly works extremely well. For instance I spend more time in the archives locating answers to questions I have that may already have been discussed then I do in the main forum. It's amazing how many times some subjects have been discussed....and are given the same answers over & over.

Don't give up yet!

Good Luck With Your Project

When you ask questions like "Anyone have any spare sheet metal laying around?"....what type of answer do you really expect? You're question's are oft times a bit too vague. Good luck out there. I'm certain you won't find a better site than this one. The guys and gals here are awesome and extremely helpful.
