My freind just got this car and we would like to know what is the largest tire for the rear we could get, and what wheel, back spacing, combo to use with none or little fender or inner well mods?

'69 rear, 275/45-17's on 17" x 9" wheels with 5" backspacing..

Search under my name for more info on this too b/c I have posted the mag. articles spec's they put out for all from 15 to 18 and if I recall right 70 down to 40 series tires as well as wheel width, but it's been a long time ago..

Larry C's great "Pro-Touring" site also has a big matrix in it of what the P-T guys have actually ran too.
