I just rebuilt my brakes, 1967 Camaro. New shoes, rebuilt the wheel clys, rebuilt master cyl. When I took it for a short drive (2 miles) I noticed the pedal had no "free play" it was all the way to the top. They still worked. Are they adjusted to tight?? Thanks

Power brakes or manual?
I bet the MC rebuild kit has a shallow hole and the original had a deep hole.
Make sure you have a little free play on the master cyl pushrod.

I had that problem. It was an adjustment on the pedal itself in my case.
